|  Nostalgic for the Vet
I was lucky enough to get down to the Vet the other day & brought along my camera. While the new stadium will be an awesome place, there's nothing like the Vet. It was great to relive the memories of Phillies teams of the past. A big kudos to the Phillies organization.
The panoramic is a series of 5 pics stitched together in Photoshop, so you *may* notice a few oddities. 
The other is of big Jim. Thank God we had him in a Phillie uniform this season!

WOW! Awesome, wish I could have been there. Keep the pics coming guys, I miss this stuff living in Colorado.
I just can't help remembering a time when Rob (eleven24), my brother, and I went to a game. It was cold and rainy, the Phils were getting spanked, and they convinced me to leave early. I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE EARLY! We hit the parking lot and this huge ROAR comes from insided the Vet. We run to the car and Harrys exclaiming, "THIS IS THE GREATEST COMBACK IN PHILLIES HISTORY!", they ended up winning the game.......Grrrrrrrr! i unfortanitally was never at the vet my whole life. but i did go to the first... i mean wachovia center last year.

But Shawn (Swami), if you remember, the Phils were getting spanked by a score of something like 11-2 in the 6th inning. It was about 50 degrees, and raining. We were soaked, and the Phils were going 3up 3down every inning.
If you ask me, we are responsible for the Phils coming back. If we stayed they would've lost, but BECAUSE we left, they came roaring back.
If only I left the CoreStates Center in 97 during games 1 & 2 of the Finals vs Detroit. Maybe we would be talking about the '97 Cup.
So let's recap.
93 Phils, Left game early = WIN
97 Flyers, Stayed until the end = LOSS
