Any good reasons? I'd rather have 12 forwards that can actually play regular minutes. Makes it so much easier on the team. Cote was down to less than 2 minutes in the last game... I know he's the only dance partner for Brashear, but its the playoffs. | | | | BAI.

I was talking before the game saying I wanted him back in the lineup. But, seriously, who are we going to take out?
Everyone is playing such key roles right now, I wouldn't mess with the mojo. | | | | Newbee

| Guys think twice about taking runs at our players when Cote is dressed. One of our key guys got hurt tonight, it still may have happened if Cote was in the line up but guys do think twice about doing that kind of stuff when Cote is dressed. Brashear and Erskine were acting like punks all night as well.
We won game two with Cote dressed and played better than we did tonight IMO. It's too bad we can't put him in over Dowd, that guy is a bum. Cote brings more than just fighting to the table, he can hit and isn't a liability at all on the ice. | | | | Let's go Flyers.

| Dowd a bum? Well, I guess if you don't count his faceoff percentage, and penalty killing, the fact he plays more than 2 minutes a night and is more sound defensively than Cote.. then yes, he is a bum. | | | | Section 212

| yea i thought Dowd was a bum too. At the beginning of teh season when i havent seen him play a single game yet.
Hes the best faceoff guy we got this year. He was taking major faceoffs in our zone last night. Why sit him for a guy who gets under 5 mins and doesnt do anything on offense. I love Cote dont get me wrong but its playoffs.
Plus i think Upshall can fill his shoes haha

| Jim Dowd was placed on waivers this year, he was horrid for most of the season.
The Ducks had either Parros or Thornton dressed for almost the entire playoffs last year, why can't we give up one roster spot? I hope the Caps don't decide to goon it up, we have no one that could hang with Brashear or Erskine aside from Cote.
I guess I miss the days where enforcers were all dressed regularly in the playoffs and the refs let everyone play the game instead of calling every little infraction. | | | | Village Jackass

| So...is Ovechkin a bitch or what? He taps toes with Umberger (maybe Knuble, cant remember exactly who >_<) and he goes spiraling down to the ice like he got shot.
What a bastard >:-O
