| ROUND TWO: Flyers vs. Maple Leafs I have a real good feeling about this series. Although I feel it will be a bit tighter checking than the NJ series, the Flyers will prevail - in 6.
Esche is going to have to play on his head again, as Toronto has many more potent scorers than NJ. This is key. All the Flyers have to do is frustrate Belfour. Get in front of the net and antagonize him like they have all season. We all have seen how flustered he gets after getting scored on a few times. This is going to be a HUGE series fellas, hopefully with the same end result as last year's round 1 matchup.
LETS GO FLYERS!!!!!

| Well put Drew. This is a huge series, Belf is gonna be at his best, and we've just gotta put the puck in the net 3 0r more times like we showed against the Devs. We gotta get Kimmy back in the lineup.

| Great... Josh is here? Fire up the veggie cannon.
We need to keep doing what we did in game 1. Get shots on net and forecheck on Toronto's lackadaisical lackofdefense. Create turnovers at centre ice and counter-attack with speed and good puck movement. Flyers D with size need to box out the Toronto goal****s standing in the slot or the blue ice and let Esche see all shots while stopping the Leafies from getting to the rebounds. Sundin and Nolan are both out until later in the series at the very least so the Flyers need to exploit the fill-ins as well as the regulars.
Kapanen played solidly replacing Johnsson on the blueline, but having another puck-mover in the lineup wouldn't hurt either. I think we might even see more of Sami in Game 2, just to give KJ the extra 4-5 days of rest.
It's pretty important to take the first 2 at home though and at worst, go for a split in Leafland. Scoring first and keeping constant pressure on the Leafies is imperative to making the Leafs play our game and not their style of goonery... ie Domi going knee on knee with Pitkanen. | That he is Wes......that he is.....and what's Domi talking about the Flyers only winning because of lucky bounces???
IMHO, we completely outplayed them, especially on the defensive task, last night. And wasn't their ONLY goal on a lucky bounce off a shinpad? Domi's such a freggin' as sclown.

| I have to agree that the Flyers badly outplayed the Leafs, for most of the game anyways, but they still didn't play very well. The Leafs are just playing their usual style: play terrible and somehow score some goals while relying heavily on their goalie. It was the same with Curtis Joseph, the same with Corey Schwab, and it's the same with Eddie Belfour.

| I put the jersey on my 2 year old son, and will be wearing my Podein jersey to the Wachovia Center tonight. They won the last time I wore it - so it would be on my shoulders if they lost and I didn't wear it
And lets see... I got to the Center an hour early, had a beef sandwich while sitting at the leftmost table in the box.
