Default Post Game Report: Vs Sens 2/27

Sean Burke made his "official return" in a Flyers uniform last night as far as I'm concerned. He hasn't impressed me since we aquired him, until last night. He was OUTSTANDING, making the clutch saves when they were needed the most by our orange and black. The d-men performed VERY well against the amazingly skilled Ottawa Senators attackers. This measures the team up just a little bit as one of the elites in the NHL.

Here are the keys to the victory:

- Sean Burke made some HUGE saves tonight against countless Senators. He had a great game and really impressed me,

- Simon Gagne continues to do well. He's really stepped it up as I see it over the last few months. If he can keep it up, he can help take this team higher.

- The Flyers as a team seem very strong. Robert Esche returns against the Bruins tommorrow, it should be interesting to see if he can return to his former self.

good job as always, Burke kept the Flyers in the game and gave them a chance to steal a win 9 to bad they tied ) anyways , I'd be hapy if Burke gave us more games like this. The Flyers played a good road game and had a few chances in the game to win or lose , but they held on for a point which can only help , a win would have been great , but as long as they pick up Points and don't lose to many game the rest of the way I think they can hold onto 1st in the divison and still challange for the top spot in both the Conf. and League.

Go Flyers
