Flyers Article Post Game Report: Vs Lighting 2/2

The Flyers lost the game and a bit of steam last night against the Lightning. Hopefully, Neil Little will get a bit warmer in the NHL before he can make the next start.

Offense: The 2 goals on 2 shots thing threw every aspect of the game off. The Offense was able to get shots on net during the third period, none lit the lamp though.

"D": Therien? Over Pitkaten? That's a HUGE mistake right there. Very boneheaded move by the coaching staff here. Joni is faster, smarter, overall a better player than Therien is. I hope this is fixed before next game

Goaltending: Neil Little needed a bit of warmup before he came in the game. He came in COLD. I don't care who you are, you can't play well in the NHL coming in as he did last night. He settled in nicely after he was rattled 2 goals on 2 shots.

Overall: The team lost a bit of overall steam by losing this game. I think the goaltending mishap threw everybody's game off. Let's hope the Flyers can get it back together before we're in a hole.

good job m was ashame to see Esche get hurt again m he had been playin pretty well , Little did all he could but bein cold and having the amout of ( or lack of ) nhl experence he has , but he seemed to settle down , after the two goals netted by Tampa ?Huge, huge difference from last year to this year,? said Recchi. ?Last year he was a real little guy in net, but he?s really adjusted his style to North American hockey. He challenges more and plays bigger, and it?s a big difference.?

Niittymaki. will get his 1st ever NHL start Vs. the Caps so hopefully he can fill in while Esche recovers , now the question is who is his backup , Hack - job or Little , maybe they shoul;d call up Drew and ask if they can borrow a goalie from the Stars
