Default Post Game Report: Flyers Vs Senators - 12/1

The Flyers' 12 game win streak came to an end on Monday night in Ottawa. Most of us HIVERS and other NHL fans thought the game would be an easy victory against a team that came out "flat" early this season. The Flyers were held up front by the Sens and played catch-up throught the entire game.

- You can't win them all. A 12-game winning streak is something that you don't see much these days in the NHL. After all, we still have the home unbeaten streak going. Let's hope that keeps up.

- I have thought this for years, Keith Primeau does NOT deserve the C patched on his jersey. He scored his third goal of the season last night. And, hasn't contributed in many other ways. I say that the Captain slot should go to a player that has a bit more talent like J.R or even Mark Recchi. Both of these players play their hearts out game in, game out, but don't get many rewards. Nothing personal to Primeau fans, but this man does not deserve the tittle that is patched on his jersey.

- The Flyers have again proved that nothing is EVER certain. You can be favored in a game and lose, or be underdogs and win a big game. These are both instances that are demonstrated every season by every team at least once.

Let's hope the Flyers can bounce back from this game and start a new streak!

very well said , sooner or later we knew the streak would end , also this was the 1st time these two teams met since the playoffs , now its time for the home streak to continue on and see if may be time for a new unbeaten streak to begin

Go Flyers
