A rematch win or even a tie would've pleased the Leafs and their fans. But it wasn't to be. The Philadelphia Flyers ended up whooping the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-1. As we have seen in last year's playoffs, mis-matches were key. And the Philadelphia Flyers seemed to take advantage whenever one arose. Here are my thoughts on the game:

• Tornoto not pulling Eddie after the fourth goal -- BIG mistake as showed tonight
• Tony Amonte doing a great job up front.. nets one this evening
• The team is working as one out on the ice.. something we didn't see earlier in the season
• Good game all around. GO FLYERS!!

well the score was 7 - 1 , non the less a great game all around , now if only they can play this weel every niote , they dont need to score 7 goals mida ya , just play as a team and give a complete effort and they can have something special

Toronto played like a beer league team out there. The Flyers just capitalized on their mistakes. I'm not taking anything away from our effort, we played well no question, but our game against the Devils is still the measuring stick we should use to stack up to other teams.
Once we see the Flyers scoring 4, 5, 6 goals on good teams, THEN we can start to walk with a little swagger. If we keep losing leads against good teams, we've gained nothing except stats in these games. These are the games that everyone expects us to win. We have to start winning games against Jersey, otherwise, we're just beating up on all the sub-.500 teams who won't be in the playoffs.
