Default Post Game Report: 10/10 Vs Sabres

Well, Ladies and Gentleman, the season is alive and our Flyers are ahead of the game after a 2-0 shutout versus Buffalo. For now on here at the post game report. I won't be posting the scoring order as much as my thoughts and news that I've heard about the team post-game. Because you can read the boxscore in the paper. So, hope you like the new format and if not please don't hesitate toE-Mail me!
  • The drama of the season began before the game started with a spectacular light show (ask Drew about it )! And an American flag projected on the Wachovia Center ice surface during the national anthem.
  • Leadership: Mark Recchi showed a tremendous amount of leadership last evening. Not only by scoring a goal, but also by keeping a livid Tony Amonte from taking a foolish penalty in the second.
  • Hackett: Jeff Hackett surprised us all last night with his shutout debut. The first save was something to build on, and build on it he did. Let's hope this pattern continues!

Report Dedicated To Josh B. & Jareth D.
