Post Game Report - PLAYOFF EDITION - Game 2 Vs Leafs The Philadelphia Flyers are ten wins away from winning a Stanley Cup Tittle. But, as we focus on the current series, it's more important that we are two wins away from eliminating the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Flyers are playing with so much intensity right now. It really is amazing how this team can turn on so quickly in a game. On the negative side, the Flyers seem to be lacking that drive and intensity in the second period. This is something that alot of people are worried about at this point in the postseason. In my opinion, letdowns are obviously negative. But, if these Flyers can continute to find a way to put the bad period behind them and focus on the current period, they will be in good shape.
About game two, the Flyers had another tough second period, but recovered and scored a goal in the third, which proved to be the game winner. The Flyers have been able to do this thus far into the playoffs, hopefully they can keep it up. The Flyers are well on there way to another series victory,
but let's not get too full of ourselves. That's happened before, *cough* 2000 versus Devils. I'm sorry I brought that up again, just a little reality check.
