The Philadelphia Flyers have defeated the defending Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils. I'll be doing a little more of a condensed report this evening, we've got company here at the Banker home

, most of them sad Devils fans

. I'm just going to add my thoughts in this edition because I'm sure that most of you saw today's game.
I'm not sure how many of you noticed, but the save before Markov's goal seemed to have injured or strained Brodeur's back in a way or another. The Flyers took advantage on that with Danny Markov's shot that flew right by the Devils goalie. Brodeur didn't move on that shot, he just kind of watched the shot sail by along with the Devils' season. Markov's goal gave the Flyers a lead that they would not give up and they defeated the Devils by a score of 3-1, after a late empty net goal.
I'll post a little bit more of a preview to the next series once our opponent in determined.
GO FLYERS!
> again, sorry for the condensed report!
