| Post Game HIVE Playoff Edition: Game 3 Vs Devils And, the sweep is gone. The Flyers and their loyal fans were hoping that the orange and black would sweep the New Jersey Devils out of the playoffs. We found out in game three, that is not as easy as it sounds. Borderline calls and big hits were the deciding factors in the Devils win tonight. Robert Esche didn't seem to be playing as he did in his other two playoff starts in games one and two. Martin Brodeur played a nice game making the key saves that he is known for in the clutch run of the game.
NOTE: I'm having some trouble with internet explorer and AOL this evening. Therefore, I can't access stats and figures on the game. I have provided my thoughts, if someone can please provide a scoring report in this post, it would be greatly appreciated!

| I feel Esch did well for the shots he could see , a few goals he had no chance on , the Flyers started out well but let the Devils hang in and eventully they took the lead , anyone who expect a sweep is crazy , N.J is too proud to let thah tahppen to them , not the goal is for the flyers to come out wednesday , limit N.J. power play chances and not take bad penalty and come h ome to philly with a 3 games to 1 lead for game 5

| The Scoring Summary by Jeff:
The Flyers opened up the scoring for the 3rd straight game on a power play goal by Jeremy Roenick at 8:49 of the 1st perid , the 1 - 0 lead would hold until early in the 2nd when
Patrik Elias scored even strength when the flyere ,missed a chance to get the puck out , the Flyers would regain the lead when Tony Amonte would score on the power play at 3:13 of the 2nd period , this lead was not as long lived as the earlier lead as the Devils would get a key powerplay goal from Paul Martin then with less then 3 mins to go in the 2nd Patrik Elias would score his 2nd goal of the game on yet another N.J. powerplay goal. the Devil headed to the 3rd with a 3 - 2 lead.
The 3rd period saw thew Flyers and Devil traded some scoring chances and N.J. started its typical clamp down , trap style of play. then the Devils Brian Gionta scored the 4th and final goal for N.J. once again on the power play.
The Flyers came close a few time to make it a one goal game , but they just couldn't finish and missed the net.
I hope this is a good scoring review for the game , did my best.
