Thumbs up Post Game Hive Playoff Edition: Game Two Vs Devils!

Well Flyers fans, we're two games away from sweeping the New Jersey Devils out of the playoffs. Robert Esche and the Philadelphia Flyers played three outstanding periods of hockey as they took a 2-0 lead in the 7 game series.
The scoring started when Mark Recchi gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal in the first period, the goal was a well-played in the tic-tac-toe passing format. The New Jersey Devils tied the game up with a goal from Jan Hrdina in the second period at the 4:44 mark. Later that period, Alexei Zhamnov tipped a goal past Martin Brodeur at the 7:24 mark with assists by Jeremy Roenick and Tony Amonte. In the third period, the Flyers just about wrapped it up with a goal from Mattias Timander which made it 3-1 Philly. Brian Gionta recieved assists from Patrik Elias and Scott Gomez to make it 3-2 Flyers. That final goal was it for the Devils, Robert Esche made the rest of the saves and the Flyers picked up the 3-2 win.
The series will shift to Northern New Jersey as the Flyers will take on the Devils in game three on Monday night.

POST GAME HIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME: MARK RECCHI - This guy just shows tremendous leadership on the ice as well as the skill to benefit his team as he displayed tonight. Way to go Mark! GO FLYERS!

another good game , just when it looked like the Devils were gonna take this game from us , the Flyers Yet again found a way to take and hold on to another 3 - 2 win , thou this series is far from over , things are looking good for the orange and black ,however the Flyers Must continue to hit the Devils every chance thay get and they need to pick up thier coverages and not leave anyone open.
