Attention DOUBLE Post Game Report!

Well, The Flyers have and continue to confuse me as we approach the long-awaited postseason. About a week ago, goaltender Robert Esche seemed like the #1 guy for the playoff run. Lately, he hasn't impressed me much at all. He admitted in a post game interview that he is thinking about the postseason more than the remaining games of the regular season. This is a problem, the remaining games for the Flyers and rival Devils will decide the division tittle. If the Devils win the next two games (they are up 3-1 vs BOs currently), no matter what the Flyers do, the Devils win the division. I try not to get too cocky with how many points we are up on the Devils. They have the games in hand and they win those games. They've been counted out lately because Scott Stevens has been absent from the team. The Flyers need to realize that he will likely return during the playoffs, the Devils could end up playing the Flyers in the first round of the playoffs.
As for the two games i'm reporting on, the Canadians are a good team, Sean Burke did a great job of shutting them down and reaching the team 100 point mark yet again. The defenders helped Burke out in that game. The defence has taken many tough injuries throuhout the season, they are still a good band of players, but I'm not sure if they can take us to a cup, I'm still up in the air with them.
The Senators game was predicted by some to be as bloody as the last meeting. That did not happen, though a few big hits occured. The Senators have been the team to beat in the East for a while now. They still have to get over that hump. They would be another tough postseason opponent, as the Flyers found out last season.

THANK YOU - Thanks to those of you that have taken the Post Game Hive survey. Your suggestions will help me improve my writing skills, and obviously make you HIVERS happy. Keep the suggestions coming! =)

God Job as always , Teh Game Vs The Habs was all Burke as he kept them off the score board and gave the Flyers a chance to win ,

The Game vs the Sens may have not have been the war that some thought it would be , but the 1st goal was a fluke goal which you dont see often and the other two goals were thru screens , so it's kinda hard to stop what you cant see . The Flyers defense needs to clear out the front of the net , no matter who is in goal to givve them a chance to make the save ,

But all in all lets jus hope the Flyers Can win thiere last game and some homw still finish ahead of N.J

Go Flyers
