Post Game Report: Flyers Vs Devils 3/13 Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around very much lately. Been in a hockey tournament. As for today's game, the Flyers showed that they are a team that some would say are destined to win a Stanley Cup. While I'm not sure about that yet, this is a team that has improved alot since last March. Even without Roenick and Primeau, this team has banded together and made the most of their oppurtunities. This win versus rival New Jersey clinches the season series win. This is the first time that has been accomplished in a long while. This could either be because the Flyers are better, or the Devils or worse. My take on the issue is that it's a combination of both. The Devils aren't as good as a team as they were a year ago, they haven't lost too much, but haven't gained much either as other Atlantic teams have such as Philadelphia. The Flyers are greatly improved from this point last season. Robert Esche is a year smarter, we have good players in Zhamnov,Leclair,Gagne, as well as a host of others that I believe have what it takes to take us very close to Lord Stanley's Cup.
Here are my points on this game:
- Robert Esche has emerged into a star player that is there when you need him. He's gonna be key in the run for the cup.
Sorry, Have to go for my game. I'll add to this later.
