I believe he will, especially after today's performance. His assist was unreal.

No. We're way too deep at his position yet. Bringing him up occasionally from the Phantoms would be wise, but not steady on the roster with limited ice time playing with baffoons on the 4th line.

I voted no as well, cause I just don't think he's ready, and putting him on a 4th line with limited time is just freaking stupid...
Which actually brings me to the other hand point, Stevens has done some dumb things in his tenure as coach (metro, ossi, to mention a few) it would not surprise me if he did make this team, on the pure account of stupidy of Jon Stevens...
But we'll see, real preseason games start this week, and we'll see how he does against some already proven NHLers, rather than a bunch of rookies... | | | | This Space for Rent

Barring any injuries in camp, no. I think a full (maybe half season) in the AHL will do him well.

What? I don't disagree with the stupidity of Stevens, but what did he have to to with Metro, and Ossi?? Metro is a 3rd liner at best, and thats where he played, and Ossi is a bottom pairing defender and thats where he played... It was Homer who got rid of these guys. Nothing to do with Stevens aside for his man love for Randy Jones. Neither of these guys are going to aid in a cup for us.
