According to some sources, i.e tsn.ca, (mailbag), 35 year old Olaf Kolzig may be coming to Philly at the trade deadline. General Manager McPhee reportedly wants to sign Kolzig however if Kolzig wants to be traded, he will be happy to accomodate that. Which means, Philly may be giving up Esche and a few picks.
At this point, I'd take him for sure, although the Capitals' future is finally looking a little brighter with Ovechkin on board, so I could definitely see Kolzig sticking around.
I dont know Nitty has been playing awsome for us this year. And maybe when Esche comes back he will find his game again. I dont think we need him to tell you the truth.
