Default Megastars Game Report

Oilers 2 (Linseman, McSorley)
Habs 0

Well, I called in sick to work to watch it.. and it was kinda dissapointing.

Gretzky didn't do anything untill after the McSorley goal when he had two good scoring chances. Messier didn't do anything at all. Guy Lafleur was a little better than Messier.

Some good points:
  • The introductions. Seperate descriptive introductions for each player kick ass.
  • The Edmonton goalies. Grant Fuhr and Bill Ranford showed those Montreal nobodies how it's done with many great saves.
  • Essa Tikanen's fake missed hit on a Canadien. At least... I hope it was fake

Overall, not worth missing work for

all i know is if the NHl ever decides to do this again , they should definitly put it on national TV at least so that more fans can watch it lie rather then wait a week to watvh a taped version of the game

was the regular game ( not the megestars ) televised in canada at least

What a shame....such a really neat event, and it wasn't even on TV here in the States...
