The Flyers franchise has been apart of the NHL from the first expansion in 1967. It is not the 40th anniversary of the Flyers, and what a better way to look back at those who suited up for the Flyers by picking your personal decade team. Pick a player who played with the Flyers in that decade at each positon, and even name a head coach. Have fun.

ONLY RULE: You can only do the team from the decades you were ALIVE in. So if you were born in the 1990s, you can only do the 1990s and 2000s team. As for Drew and Randy, you guys can do all four.

Yes, unfortunately I was born in 1988 so I couldn't experience the previous Flyer's teams. However, I was a fan already at about the age of 7 or 8 so I do remember quite a few players. Here are my picks.

For either decade... I'd take him over Renberg (who was a product of his environment clearly) or Kapanen (gives 110% but his hand injury limited his offense the rest of his career) any day of the week.
