Mark Recchi scored two goals as the Philadelphia Flyers stayed undefeated with a 5-4 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday night.
Former Coyotes star Jeremy Roenick had a goal and an assist, as did Joni Pitkanen, to hand Phoenix goaltender Sean Burke his first loss in four starts.
Keith Primeau got his first goal 6:16 into the third period, and Tony Amonte had two assists in his first action against the Coyotes, who traded him to Philadelphia in March.
Philadelphia's Jeff Hackett gave up his first goal of the season, to Ladislav Nagy. Brian Savage, Shane Doan and Branko Radivojevic also scored for Phoenix, and Paul Mara had three assists.
Hackett, a free agent signed from Boston in July, stopped 19 shots. The first goalie to post shutouts in his first two starts with the Flyers, Hackett blanked Buffalo 2-0 on Oct. 9 and held San Jose to a 0-0 tie Thursday.
Recchi gave Philadelphia a 4-2 lead in the second when he wristed in a rebound of Amonte's shot with 5:41 left.
Doan scored on a power play 18 seconds into the third period, but Primeau silenced the crowd of 15,073 again when he swept in to jam a rebound past Burke's stick side 6:16 in. Radivojevic scored with 5:53 left.
Burke, who had 30 saves, allowed two goals in his three wins. Game notes
