|  Same team, Different Year
Okay, lets see... the Flyers have played 9 periods of hockey so far (not counting OT) and have scored in TWO of them. What defensive powerhouses have shut down the Flyers?
Buffalo.
Pittsburgh.
San Jose.
The Pens & Sharks are bordering on minor league teams, and the Flyers can't beat them?? Forget that it's the start of the regular season, this is supposed to be an "elite" team. A contender.
Not from where I sit.
Sometimes you have to open it up a bit. Guys like Amonte, Roenick, Gagne, Recchi, and Desjardins have to put the puck in the net. We can't go through another season were our entire core of "scorers" are in a slump.
A tie with the Avs, Devils, or Wings is palatable. A tie to the Pens & Sharks is pathetic. Two lost points which will be needed come the end of the year. | | | | Thoresen dropper NHL-spil

Valid points Rob. Although it is early, their lack of scoring is already starting to depress me. Let me out there!! :toothless
