| I'm curious if they can get anyone to take him with the contract that he has...it might be another LeClair deal where there are no takers. | | | | Thoresen dropper NHL-spil

| Boy did Tony dissappoint me in the post-season. The guy looked like he had no interest at all in the playoffs. He shyed away from every hit, played tentative, terrible shot selections, and made some REALLY bonehead passes out of his own zone. I was hoping Tony would show more than he did, but apprently, his age is really catching up to him.

| I think the only time he *sort of* showed up was in the OT of game 6. Personally, I think he gets overly frustrated when he keeps getting bumped (away from the puck) - which is what the playoffs are all about.
I want new, young blood in the orange & black. Even if it means one mediocre season. | | | | Let's go Flyers.

| He was such a playoff dissapointment. I would like to see him back if he can step it up, but I think the younger blood needs experience, and if they're willing to accecpt the lower pay, the older, bigger salary guys gotta go. | | | | HAI

Older guys with ridiculous salaries like Leclair,Amonte are going to have to go in this offseason. Young players are going to be the key to this franchise's success years to come. | | | | LETS GO FLYERS!

| Depends on a few things. If the new CBA includes a salary cap and Tony doesn't want to take a pay cut, get him outta here. If he does, keep him around. Anybody know how many years are left on his current contract? | | | | Let's go Flyers.

| He does need a MAJOR paycut, so does about half of this team.

| True, seems like a good guy.
Though that's like saying you like a candy bar that you already ate...wait no, that's a REALLY bad comparison.
Tony Amonte is not a candy bar. | | | | LETS GO FLYERS!

And you're right, Amonte isn't a candy bar. I always thought of him as more of a lollipop or a Jolly Rancher.. | | | | HAI
