| Todd Fedoruk If anyone saw the clip after the Atlanta game Saturday? It was fan appriciation day, and when Burkes name got called to give his jersey away, there were some boos mixed in with the cheers. Todd Fedoruk, standing next to the mic snatch it and told the fans, "Hey Philly fans, don't boo this guy. He made some very key saves today. He deserves a cheer." I like that in a player. The fans respected him, his teamates did, and most of all, Burkie was very appriciative.

| yeah i heard bout that , glad to see the guys on this team supporting Burke , it is sometime hard for a player to adjust to a new team , no matter how long they have played.

| Saw that he did that, and I have a lot of respect for what he did.

| Well, at the time he was being booed, he'd been playing pretty bad. A .500 record, and a sub .900 save percentage don't really make me want to cheer my goalie.
But then, last night was great, and it's about time.

| Philly loves a winner, but sometimes the fans don't understand that hockey's a team sport. The TEAM failed Burke most of the time before the Sens game. Hopefully, we'll be able to gel a little, communicate more and not blow defensive assignments like it was going out of style. I mean jeez, we looked like the friggin Leafs out there. | | | | Thoresen dropper NHL-spil

| Hey guys, Burke played well. It was the d coverage in front of him that has failed him, as Wes said. All is good though...Eschies back in the pipes now!!

| Sure, the team let him down, thats what it is...
A goalie like Brodeur or Belfour and other elite NHL goaltenders save their teams on regular basis's. We will only win with Burke if the team dominates the other team. Burke will not win us any games like elite goalies do. It is a tough fact, but no one can say he is even in the top ten goalies in the league. My guess is that there are around 20-30 goalies in the league that are better than him. I know that we as flyers fans want to think that he is better than he is, but lets face it.. he isnt
OK, wait for it.. here comes mr. to defend him... | | | | | |
