| Freddy Meyer Hey, this guy has been pretty solid since he was called up. He's scored a few goals, played solid defense in the zone, and even got into his first NHL fight Saturday. I like the way he takes the body along the boards. Not bad at all. | | | | Mighty Mighty Mick

| I agree. For a Dman with not much size, he knows how to give and take hits. He also proved he can score.

| Funny, I was just looking at the heights and weights of the players and given Randy Jones' size you would expect him to be the one that's more physical. | | | | Senior Member

| I say demote Randy Jones. He isn't doing quite well the NHL level and he needs more time...

| I don't know how many of you caught ABC's broadcast of the game Saturday, but they were completely ripping Jones apart. Don't get me wrong I like the kid's potential, but he needs to learn how to retain the puck, make smarter more decisive passes, and drive players to the outside when they enter the zone. With all the injuries we won't be sending him back until Rico returns at the earliest. | | | | Senior Member

| well, we can demote him, and we'll have 6 d-men
Meyer Pitkanen
Johnsson Hatcher
Therien Rathje
To tell you the truth, I'd rather see Jones get demoted than Therien. They both cough up pucks, but at least Therien uses his body as an advantage, (sometimes) | | | | do-nothing Hiver
