| Sami Kapenen Sami was the MVP of our team this season IMO. He helped us out on D when our D-men were hurt. And he lead the team by example just like Primeau. If Kaps didnt take that hit in the toronto series JR might not have scored and we could have left a series earlier. IMO Kaps held our season together this year Do u agree? | | | | H4-H6 Designer Join Date: Jul 2003 Posts: 494

| I'm assuming you're talking about the playoffs? If so, Kap had an awesome run, but Primeau was everything the Flyers hoped Lindros would be. Utterly dominating.
As far as the regular season, I'd give the MVP to Recchi. He held the team together when the injuries mounted -- and had an awesome season. I'd think that he may have been injured in the playoffs as well. He didn't seem like the old Rex. | | | | Forum Enforcer, Wallpaper Designer

| kapi was great filling in on defense , he moved the puck quick and didn't make many mistakes , and when he did he got back and made up for them , Keith Primeau was the Playoff M.V.P. for the Flyers this post season. he led the team in every way a captain should

| Primeau should've been the MVP of the season also, if not for his injury. I thought he finally got the credit he deserved during his amazing playoff run.

| Kapenen had a great year. He showed his skill for the game by dropping back and playing a different position very skillfully.
Kapenen definatly adds heart and spirit to this team, and he should stay. | | | | BAI.

| Once our D started to get hurt, i was growing worried that we'd lose in playoffs quickly because of that factor. Sami did an AWESOME job in the playoffs and truly surprised me. | | | | LETS GO FLYERS!

| The Eric Weinrich trade turned out baaaaad. I don't remember exactly what round the draft pick we got for him was, but I know it was a late round, something like fifth or so. Him and that dang green visor of his could've really helped us in the playoffs. | | | | No Longer Embarrased

| Yeah, that's for sure. At the time it was a good deal though.

| Ooh...fancy..lol. I'd probably get distracted by the color. I can't even wear sunglasses cause I feel all weird with them on. Still though, that visor would be awesome to have. | | | | BAI.

| From the article that I read, he wants to move the family back to..(finland I think it was). He wants his kids in school there, and he's just homesick I think. It'll be a shame if he does, 31 is awful young to retire. | | | | |
