| Keith Primeau I know this is an obvious choice but my post is more of a public apology.
You see, I was not happy with the trade for Brindamour several years ago, I blamed Primeau for the firing of Bill Barber and I thought he was a horrible captain.
Boy was I wrong especially about the captain comment. Keith is a hell of a leader that is leading by example and just refusing to allow this season to end.

| I think a lot of people didn't like the trade of Brind'Amour. I was one of them. But hey, Brindy worked hard, but he was getting older. I don't think he's done much since he's gone to Carolina.
As for the Barber incident. I don't, nor did I ever blame Primeau. Yes, what he said got Barber fired. But what he said was on behalf of the TEAM. That's what the captain does. He's the voice of his teammates.
Maybe he could've handled it better, but it's water under the bridge. How much do you think Barber is hating how well Primeau is playing -- especially since he's now the director of Pro Scouting for the Lightning?

| Yeah, I also blamed Primeau for Barber's firing and I also hated the deal. However, my views completely changed after the season I think, and right now, I'm simply amazed. I'd say Primeau's already earned the Smythe.

| To be completely honest, I cannot remember such a performance by a Flyer for about 20 years (Hextall's rookie run). Preems has DOMINATED in every facet of the playoffs. If they win tonight, he seriously deserves consideration for the Conn Smythe.

| As alot of you know, i didn't like Primeau from the start of this season, I sure do now. He's proven to me that he's a great hockey player. He knows how to get his team ready, and how to come through in the clutch. Hope he does it today.

| I'm also one of the many that wasn't too happy with the whole Bill Barber situation, but Hitch has been unbelieveable as a coach... and Preems has stepped up to a level that i thought he'd never be at in the playoffs. Defintiely can't argue with the outcome! LET'S GO FLYERS! | | | | Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 34

| probably a better leader than player, historically. I know that he was great during the last run, however, his past statistics do not equate to that | | | | | |
