True story, ask my brother....

We were up high, and I had my 300mm coupled with my 2x teleconverter on my Canon DSLR (that's 600x ladies and gents ).

I was just mad shooting during the first period, pulse, etc. Some security guard resembling the big black guy from Green Mile comes up to me and tells me to take the gargatuan lens off and use another one. I was like, WTF, I've used this at several games this season. He said, "Well,you don't use it in my section". So all those zoomed in action pics you see are from the beginning of the game only.

I didn't want to fight it and get kicked out, as I don't get out to many games anymore...

nice pics, i got a nikon d70 that i spent a crapload on, and broke the 1st day i got it btw. it doesnt autofocus anymore because it got knocked off my table and is gonna cost like $200 to fix... so yea manual focus it is.

so wait, they didn't let you use your 300mm lens? cause next game i'm going to i am def bringing this puppy but am only going to bring one lens, so if i cant use my 300mm ill just bring a smaller one

You can try it, but they'll probably say just put it away. I had my Tamron coupled with a teleconverter, which made it 600x. I think it was the length (well over 12 inches) that made them tell me.
