EA Sports NHL 07: Hate it or love it?

I'm biased since I had a hand in helping EA out with development of it, but I think it's a definite improvement over previous years.

Online gaming with it is another story....there is a lot of work to be done in that area.

I like the flow of gameplay, it feels a little more realistic than in previous years. The passing and shooting are a lot nicer now and kind of remind me of FIFA. The fact that shots arent 90% on net is a bit more realistic. Ive only been playing it on easy for 2 days now just to try to get used to the defensive part of the game (which is a lot harder for me at least cause I can't just check the crap out of everybody coming into my zone) but the offensive part seems to be too easy to score(probably cause it's on easy, i know). Most of the time when on a breakaway I can just do a little move and slide the puck in the net. I am sure once I put the game difficulty up it will be a little harder, but it is still an entertaining game.
