Big news on the loss of Timonen and Coburn.
The latest scuttlebut is that both players could be back in the lineup on Sunday. Kimmo is supposed to skate today to test out the ankle/foot and if it is fine to go then he plays. Coburn was close to playing last night and I don't see how he doesn't play on Sunday.
With these two potentially back in the lineup we could offset the energy in the Igloo. This could be only the second good news we have had in this series.
My only concern is does the layoff affect both players... I don't think it will have an impact and they are good enough to overcome that affect to still outperform their current replacements. |
