Agreed, As the season wears on it will be easier to gauge how close to Kane's he really is, now I don't know too much about the London Knight's this year, but I do know this. Patrick Kane had a player on his line named Sam Gagner, who if you guys seen any of the Russian super series played exceptionally well, throughout last season there was discussion about who helped who's numbers more. Kane for Gagner and Vice versa. I do think though that since Patrick Maroon played in the NAHL last season, that may have hurt his draft position, given the NAHL isn't on the same level as the OHL.
Obviously his "draft position" isn't a bad thing considering the Flyers got him. Kind of reminds me of a Tocchet in a way, in the NAHL last season Patrick Maroon in 57 games had 40 Goals
55 Assists for 95 Points and 152 PIM's. Another thing to note from Patrick Maroon is that, he's not just a "regular season" performer who gets cold in the playoffs, he was also named NAHL playoff MVP last year.
