As some of you know, I've headed up the Post Game Hive department here for the last few (3?) years.

As the 2006-2007 season wore on, I came to the realization that I simply didn't have the time to write the articles I wanted to write on a nightly basis. With that came the decision that I would step down from my perch in that department, but I knew I wouldn't want to leave the column roster completely.

Then came my idea for "Inside The Flyers", a weekly peek at our team from different perspectives. Using some newly found contacts and friends, I'm hoping to bring a great look at the orange and black from an angle you may not have seen before, the HIVE perspective of things, if you will.

I will be bringing in my own views on current topics within the organization (while asking for your own, just like post-game went), I'll also broaden the column with exclusive interviews, stories, and the occasional hearsay rumor that I get wind of.

PGH was alot of fun to do for the last few years, but I'm looking forward to bringing this new and exciting aspect to our community this year. I hope you'll give it a shot and help make "Inside The Flyers" a successful piece of v7!
